A little piece of British wool heritage, made for chilly days🌿

This Wool Month, we're celebrating British wool with the Pipit Beanie, a chunky, double-layered hat made using 100% British Bluefaced Kerry Hill wool.

Bluefaced Kerry Hill wool brings together the qualities of two British sheep breeds: the Bluefaced Leicester, known for its soft handle, and the Kerry Hill, recognised for its distinctive markings and white fleece. Spun in Britain, this lovely wool has a soft, silky feel and a gentle halo that gives the finished beanie its characterful texture.

Wool is a natural fibre with a long history in the British countryside, connecting our landscapes, farming traditions and textile heritage. Choosing British wool is a way to celebrate that tradition and the people who continue to work with this remarkable natural material.

Each beanie features a chunky knit, a generous folded cuff and a handmade leather PIPIT label. Double-layered for extra warmth, it's made for crisp morning dog walks, muddy footpaths and bracing countryside adventures.

Inspired by the colours of the British countryside, every shade has its own character. These beanies don't need to match our dog snoods. This collection celebrates British wool in its own right.

A note on availability: As this collection celebrates British wool, availability is limited by the yarn I can source.
