Handmade with Care

EVERY CRAFTED AT PIPIT SNOOD IS CROCHETED BY HAND USING SOFT NATURAL WOOL, WITH COMFORT, PRACTICALITY AND TIMELESS DESIGN AT ITS HEART.

Inspired by the landscapes I explore with Pip and Fen, each colour reflects a familiar corner of the countryside, from the deep greens of woodland moss to the warm glow of late summer brambles.

Because every snood is handmade, no two are ever quite the same. That's part of their charm, and a little reminder that they're made by human hands rather than machines.

How to Measure

THE BEST-FITTING SNOODS START WITH A SIMPLE MEASUREMENT.

Every dog is unique, even within the same breed, so I always recommend measuring your dog's neck before placing an order.

Using a soft tape measure, wrap it around the widest part of your dog's neck where the snood will naturally sit. The tape should be snug but not tight. You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck.

When ordering, simply enter this measurement on the product page. I'll use it alongside the size you've selected to ensure your snood is the best possible fit.

If you're unsure or your dog falls between sizes, don't worry. Get in touch and I'll be happy to help recommend the right size before you order.

Measuring Tips

  • Use a soft tape measure (or a piece of string and a ruler).

  • Measure around the widest part of the neck.

  • Keep the tape comfortably snug, not tight.

  • You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers between the tape measure and your dog's neck.

  • Enter your measurement in inches (or centimetres, if you prefer).

If you require a smaller or larger snood, please select the closest available size and enter your dog’s neck measurement at checkout.

Our snoods are made in increasing widths of 4–7 inches. If your dog requires a wider or narrower snood, please include this information, along with their neck measurement, at checkout.

We’ll use these measurements to make sure your snood is made to the right fit.

FIND A COLOUR THAT FEELS LIKE YOUR FAVOURITE WALK

Every Crafted at Pipit colourway begins outdoors.

The soft pinky-grey of weathered stone. The rich green of woodland moss. The bright yellow of spring gorse. The deep pink of autumn brambles. These are colours gathered from the countryside, chosen not because they're fashionable, but because they remind us of places worth returning to.

Each snood carries a little piece of those landscapes, ready for adventures with your own four-legged companion.

Handmade for Every Adventure

THEY’RE NOT ESSENTIAL. THAT’S PART OF THE POINT.

Snoods sit somewhere between practical and purely for the pleasure of it - a small detail that changes the whole look. A bit of colour, a bit of texture, something that feels considered.

Made for dogs who are very much part of everyday life -out on walks, in the garden, at your feet, but with a nod to doing things nicely. Whether you're setting off on a muddy woodland walk, heading to the beach on a windy morning or drying off after a swim, a Crafted at Pipit snood is designed to make adventures just that little bit more comfortable.

Soft merino wool helps protect long ears from mud, damp grass and chilly weather, while the timeless crocheted design looks right at home wherever your next walk takes you.
