PLACES
MORE THAN WHAT'S ON THE PLATE
I've spent years working with independent restaurants, cafés and food businesses, documenting not only the food they serve but the people, places and stories behind it.
From busy kitchens and quiet prep rooms to opening nights and changing seasons, I'm drawn to the details that make a place feel like itself.
WILD SHROPSHIRE RESTAURANT
EIGHT YEARS OF STORIES, SEASONS AND SHARED CREATIVITY
For more than eight years, I've had the privilege of documenting Wild Shropshire's story as it continues to evolve.
Working closely with James and the team has allowed me to photograph far more than what's on the plate. From the changing seasons and local producers to the quiet moments before service and the creativity behind each menu, these images reflect a restaurant rooted in place, purpose and a deep respect for ingredients.
It's a story I've been fortunate to follow for many years, camera in hand.
CHAPTERS RESTAURANT
DOCUMENTING THE DETAILS THAT MADE CHAPTERS SPECIAL
One of the joys of hospitality photography is capturing a moment in a business's story. For Chapters in Hay-on-Wye, that meant documenting the food, people and atmosphere created by Charmaine and Mark during their time at the restaurant.
From quiet moments before service to the details that guests might never consciously notice, these photographs celebrate a place that brought people together around good food and genuine hospitality.
TOWER HILL BARNS
WHERE BEAUTIFUL SPACES AND MEANINGFUL MOMENTS COME TOGETHER
Great hospitality isn't limited to restaurants. It can be found wherever people gather, celebrate and create memories.
My work with Tower Hill Barns focused on capturing the character of the venue and the thoughtful details that shape each guest's experience. From the setting and styling to the atmosphere and sense of occasion, the aim was to create imagery that felt as welcoming and memorable as the venue itself.
